Description

The Manipulator with Helium Cryostat (closed cycle) is a versatile closed cycle system that has many applications in ultra-high vacuum research. The manipulator is prepared to combine with Z Slide, XY Stage or Differentially Pumped Rotary Feedthrough. The modular construction means that the specification can be upgraded or modified by the addition or replacement of well defined modules. The standard mounting flange is DN 100CF.

Application

The Manipulators are used for manipulation of sample holders and scientific tools with ability of fast cooling down and high cooling capacity for large samples. These manipulators, when combined with sample holders mounted on allow precise placement and manipulation of samples in UHV environments. They can only work in vertical orientation.

Additional information

The Manipulators own the Sample Receiving Stations on the Vacuum Parts of Manipulator for holding sample holders. All axes of the manipulator can be motorized. Cryostat head is produced byAdvanced Research Systems, Inc. The system typically includes a compressor, hoses, expander, temperature controller and sensor.
