Description
The Stepper Motor Shift for Z Slide is used to motorized movement of the Z Slide. The Z Slide is then normally supplied with microswitch limit stops as standard. Motorized Z Slide can still be operated manually.
Application
Motorization with stepper motors increases resolution and repeatability of the translator movement and makes the positioning very precise and easy. Motorization can be used when travel distance is so large that manual actuation would be time consuming. Motion is operated by dedicated software installed on a PC computer.
Additional information
The Stepper Motor Shift for Z Slide is controlled by an electronic device SMCD20 (see chapter Stepper Motor Control Driver SMCD20). Easy disassemble before baking.
