Description

The RS 40B1 is a new, high intensity twin anode Al/Mg X-ray source optimized for XPS experiments.

Application

Design of the anode, filament and source housing guarantees maximum X-ray intensity and very low cross-talk between the anode faces. A specially configured nose cone allows maximum access to the sample.

Additional information

The X-ray inner housing is very efficiently water-cooled in order to reduce the damage of the sample by thermal effects during operation.
The RS 40B1 has double high voltage protection. When the housing is open high voltage can no to be switch on. The housing is hermetically sealed.
