Description
The Effusion Cell EF 40C1 is a UHV component, designed for indirect resistive heating and used for getting highly constant evaporation rates.
Application
Highly reproducible and reliable. Suitable for use in any MBE system. Molybdenum-free construction. The EF 40C1 Effusion Cell is recommended for use with low to medium vapor pressure, meaning those materials that are likely to be evaporated or sublimed at temperature ~250° ÷ 1500°C.
Additional information
- Crucibles - the medium temperature cell is available 5cc size. The most commonly used crucible materials are PBN, AL2O3; other materials may also be available
- Integral manual or electro-pneumatic shutter – made of high purity Ta. Isolated from the crucible so that closing the shutter will interrupt the flux without disturbing the equilibrium within the crucible
- Integral water cooling – the EF 40C1 is cooled by the water cooled copper block. The stainless steel inlet tube is soldered to the copper block. The outlet tube goes inside the inlet tube
- Sample Heating Power Supply HEAT1-PS
- Linear Shift (optional)
